The total volume of bunkers sold at Singapore port in March 2018 was down by 4.0% on year, according to Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) data.
The republic posted 4.17 million metric tonnes (mt) of bunker sales in March 2018, marginally lower when compared to 4.34 million mt in the similar month of 2017.
In March (versus on year), sales of 380 centistokes (cSt) grade was recorded at 3.1 million mt (3.3 million mt); 180 cSt product at 27,500 mt (31,400 mt); 500 cSt material at 826,400 mt (841,700 mt).
The same month (versus on year) saw sales of marine gas oil (MGO) at 61,500 mt (70,800 mt); low sulphur (LS) MGO at 119,200 mt (114,300 mt); LS 180 cSt at 11,200 mt (versus zero); LS 380 cSt at 700 mt (versus zero); LS 500 cSt at zero mt (versus zero).
