General
- These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our websites https://www.manifoldtimes.com and https://manifoldtimes.com.cn (“Sites” or “Site”) operated by Manifold Publishing Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “us” or “our”).
- By accessing our Sites, you confirm that you have read, understand and accept these Terms and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Sites.
- You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our Sites through your internet connection are aware of these Terms, and that they comply with them.
- We may amend, supplement or remove any of these Terms from time to time by publishing the amended Terms on the Sites. Every time you use our Sites, you are expected to check these Terms and you shall be deemed to have understood and accepted the amended Terms.
Our Sites
- Our Sites are made available free of charge. We do not guarantee that our Sites, or any content on it, will always be available, error free or be uninterrupted. We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our Sites.
- We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. We will try to give you reasonable notice by publishing on our Sites and you shall not withhold your consent thereto.
- Our Sites are directed for use in Singapore. We do not represent that content available on or through our Sites are appropriate for use or available in other locations.
Use of Content
- You must not use, exploit, reproduce, publish, distribute, translate, transmit, sell or trade any part of the content on our Sites for commercial or other purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us.
- You may print off one copy (but not photocopy them), and may download and store extracts, of any page(s) from our Sites for your personal use.

- You also agree not to reproduce, store in, transmit, display or otherwise provide access to any part of the content on our Sites on any other website, server or other storage device connected to a network, or otherwise regularly and/or systematically store in any form or any part of the content on our Sites.
- If you print off, copy, download, share or repost any part of our Sites in breach of these Terms, your right to use our Sites will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

- We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Sites, and in the material published on it. All such rights are reserved and are protected by Singapore and international copyright laws.
- The trademarks and logos displayed on the Sites are the property of us or other third parties. You are not permitted to use them without our approval.
- You agree to abide by all applicable copyright, intellectual property and other laws, as well as the terms of any additional copyright notices or restrictions contained on our Sites or in these Terms.
Disclaimers
- Our Sites contain press releases and analyses written by third parties. Each individual third party is solely responsible for ensuring that any press release and/or analysis on our Sites complies with applicable laws and regulations. We do not exercise editorial control over and are not responsible for the content of these press releases and analyses or for any inaccuracy, incompleteness, error or omission therein.

- We do not guarantee that these links and the Linked Sites will work all the time and we reserve the right to remove any link at any time without notice.
Viruses
- We do not guarantee that our Sites will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You agree to bear and assume all risks relating thereto.
- You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programs and platform to access our Sites. You should use your own virus protection software.
- We will not be liable for any loss or damage to you resulting directly or indirectly from circumstances beyond our control, including without limitation problems with computer viruses or other harmful component that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs or proprietary material or corrupt any data due to your use of our Sites or that the download of any content on our Sites.
- You must not introduce viruses, trojans, worms or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful to our Sites or any part of it. You must not attack, interfere with, damage or disrupt the proper working of our Sites. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our Sites will cease immediately.
Limitation of Liability
- We exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations, undertakings, obligations or other terms not expressly set out in these Terms that may apply to our Sites or any content on it.
- We will not be liable to you for any loss, damage, cost or expense, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising out of or in connection with (a) the use of, or inability to use, our Sites; or (b) the use of or reliance on any content displayed on our Sites.
- Under no circumstances that we will be liable for any indirect or consequential loss including but not limited to (a) loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue; (b) business interruption; (c) loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or (d) any other indirect or consequential loss or damage.
Personal Data Privacy Policy
- This section sets out the basis which we may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”). We reserve our right to revise this section from time to time without any prior notice. You should check this section regularly and your continued use of our Sites constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of such changes.
- Depending on the nature of your interaction with us, some examples of personal data which we may collect from you include name, email address and telephone number.
Collection, use and disclosure of personal data
- We generally do not collect your personal data unless (a) it is provided to us voluntarily by you directly after (i) you have been notified of the purposes for which the data is collected, and (ii) you have provided written consent to the collection and usage of your personal data for such purposes; or (b) collection and use of personal data without consent is permitted or required by the PDPA or other laws.
- We shall seek your consent before collecting any additional personal data and before using your personal data for a purpose which has not been notified to you.
- We may collect and use your personal data for the purposes of responding to, handling, and processing queries and requests from you.
- We may disclose your personal data (a) where necessary to enforce our Terms; (b) where such disclosure is required for performing obligations in the course of or in connection with our provision of services requested by you; (c) if required by law; or (d) such disclosure is necessary to protect and defend our legitimate interests.
Withdrawing your consent
- The consent that you provide for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data will remain valid until such time it is being withdrawn by you. You may withdraw consent and request us to stop collecting, using and/or disclosing your personal data for any or all of the purposes listed above by submitting your request via email to our Data Protection Officer at the email address provided below.
- Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your consent, we may require reasonable time for your request to be processed and for us to notify you of the consequences of us acceding to the same, including any legal consequences which may affect your rights and liabilities to us. In general, we shall seek to process your request within ten (10) business days of receiving it.
- Whilst we respect your decision to withdraw your consent, please note that we may not be able to continue providing our services via the Sites to you.
- Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose personal data where such collection, use and disclosure without consent is permitted or required under applicable laws.
Access to and correction of personal data
- If you wish to make a request (a) for access to a copy of the personal data which we hold about you or information about how we use or disclose your personal data; or (b) to correct or update any of your personal data which we hold about you, you may submit your request via email to our Data Protection Officer.
- We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request. We will inform you of the fee before processing your request.
- We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably possible. In general, our response will be within ten (10) business days. If we are unable to provide you with any personal data or to make a correction requested by you, we will inform you of the reasons (except where we are not required to do so under the PDPA).
- We generally rely on the personal data provided by you. In order to ensure that your personal data is current, complete and accurate, please update us if there are changes to your personal data by informing our Data Protection Officer via email.
Protection and retention of personal data
- To safeguard your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate administrative, physical and technical measures.
- Please be aware that we do not guarantee security of your information.
- We may retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by law. We will cease to retain your personal data as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data is collected, and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
Transfer of personal data outside of Singapore
- We generally do not transfer your personal data to countries outside Singapore. We will obtain your consent if a transfer is to be made.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms, their subject matter and all other non-contractual disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with it are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with Singapore law.
- You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
