The final meetings of the sole members of Wilmar International subsidiaries Wilmar Fujian Investments Pte. Ltd. and Wilmar Golden Sea Investment Pte. Ltd have been scheduled to take place on 21 November 2022, according to the companies’ liquidator on notices posted on Thursday (20 October) on the Government Gazette.
The final meetings are scheduled to take place at 28 Biopolis Road, Wilmar International, 138568 at 11am (Wilmar Fujian Investments) and 11.30am (Wilmar Golden Sea Investment).
The purpose of the meeting is for:
A member entitled to attend and vote at the Meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote in his stead and a proxy need not be a member of the Company.
According to its website, Wilmar International owns a fleet of liquid and dry bulk carriers to improve the flexibility and efficiency of its logistic operations.
“This fleet provides partial support for our total shipping requirements while the balance of our requirements is met by chartering-in third-party vessels,” it said.
As of 31 December 2020, the group owned and controlled tankers/ dry bulk vessels with a total tonnage of about 2.8 million metric tonnes (mt).
