The sales volume of marine fuel at Singapore port was up 7.5% on year in February, according to Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) data.
A total of 4.14 million metric tonnes (mt) was sold in February 2018, an increase from 3.85 million mt during the same month in 2017.
Sales of 380 centistokes (cSt) grade, was stable at 2.92 million mt during the comparative period.
Marine gas oil (MGO) and low sulphur (LS) 380 cSt product sales were respectively down to 54,7000 mt, 4,900 mt in February 2018, from 68,100 mt and 15,700 in February 2017.
Delivered grades of 180 cSt and 500 cSt respectively increased to 32,500 mt and 959,200 mt in February 2018, from 29,900 mt and 711,300 mt in the similar month during 2017.
LS MGO, LS 180 cSt and LS 500 cSt material saw volumes rise to 127,600 mt, 19,100 mt and 500 mt, from sales of 102,300 mt, 0 mt and 0 mt.
