Lübeck-based international dry bulk transportation firm Oldendorff Carriers Germany purchased a record quantity of bunkers in 2017.
The company’s total bunker purchases in 2017 amounted to 3.5 million metric tonnes, a 30% increase over the 2.7 million mt of bunkers purchased by the company in 2016.
There were 6,232 bunker deliveries in 2017 to the companies owned and chartered vessels.
The bulk carrier owner and operator’s fleet in 2017 varied between 600 and 700 owned and chartered vessels.
