China: Shenzhen Kunlun Fuel Oil completes its first bonded bunker fuel op

Shenzhen Kunlun Fuel Oil Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of PetroChina Fuel Oil Co., Ltd, recently successfully completed its first bonded bunker fuel delivery in Yantian Port, according to China-based press.
The firm delivered 2,000 metric tonnes (mt) of low sulphur fuel oil to Singapore-registered container ship Ever Unicorn in Yantian Port, Shenzhen.
Kunlun Fuel Oil obtained the fifth bonded bunkering business licence from Shenzhen authorities on 8 June this year. Its main business includes bonded marine fuel oil terminal filling and retail trade business.
“The successful completion of the first bonded fuel bunkering business demonstrates the strength of Yantian Port in the field of bonded fuel oil management for international ships, further enhancing the port’s bonded fuel supply service capabilities, and expands the scale of bonded fuel bunkering in Shenzhen,” a spokesperson for Yantian District said.
“Yantian will speed up implementing the follow-up operation and management of the “one-stop” information system, and promote the full implementation of the bonded fuel filling reform project for international ships. Yantian has contributed to helping Shenzhen build an international offshore bonded fuel filling centre and build a global ocean centre city.”
