Several notices were published to inform the passing of several resolutions for An Ya Shipping Pte Ltd and several related companies, according to a notice released on 22 November posted on the Government Gazette.
The resolutions were passed by written means on 9 January.
The other companies are An He Shipping Pte Ltd, An Hua Shipping Pte Ltd, An Kang Shipping Pte Ltd and An Sheng Shipping Pte Ltd.
The following are the resolutions passed:
SPECIAL RESOLUTION – WINDING-UP
That the Company be wound up pursuant to section 160(1)(b) of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018.
ORDINARY RESOLUTION – APPOINTMENT OF LIQUIDATORS
That Paresh Tribhovan Jotangia and Ho May Kee of Grant Thornton Singapore Private Limited c/o 8 Marina View, #40-04/05 Asia Square Tower 1, Singapore 018960 be appointed as joint and several liquidators of the Company for the purpose of the winding-up.
Manifold Times previously reported directors of the companies on 12 December 2022 declared the entities were unable to continue business due to their liabilities.
