Marine fuel supplier Peninsula has added a third barge to its Fujairah operations, according to the company on Thursday (15 December).
Manifold Times in late September reported Peninsula commencing physical operations in the Port of Fujairah.
“We announced receipt of our physical license to operate in Fujairah and KhorFakkan in September this year, followed by our first physical operation in October,” the firm said in a social media post.
“Since then, we have added additional tonnage to our operations and today we happy to announce we will be operating a third barge in the region. This third supply vessel brings optionality and flexibility among both ports and will allow us to offer all grades in the region. With a total cargo capacity of 18,000 mt, we will be able to offer all range of products including HS380, VLSFO & LSMGO.”
The commercial office in Dubai which supports the physical operations in Fujairah has also grown to increase the company’s presence in the region and to be able to service the demand.
