Temasek subsidiary Pavilion Energy Trading & Supply Pte. Ltd. (Pavilion Energy), a supplier of liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunker fuel at Singapore port, on Thursday (12 August) said it has safely and successfully completed its 100th truckload operation for LNG bunkering at Singapore port.
The receiving vessel was Marine Vicky, a LNG dual fuel propelled bunker tanker owned and operated by V-Bunkers; 34m3 of LNG was transferred from two trucks to the vessel at Jurong Port.
Pavilion Energy has been supplying LNG bunker fuel to the Marine Vicky since September 2020, it notes.
“Pavilion Energy wishes to express our appreciation to Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and our partners SLNG – Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd, Leeden National Oxygen Ltd, Jurong Port, V-bunkers and PSA Marine for their support in strengthening the LNG bunkering network in Singapore,” it states.
“We are confident of Singapore’s premier position in serving the growing demand for LNG bunkering – and we remain committed to supporting our customers’ energy transition journey with LNG as a cleaner marine fuel.”
