MOLGAS Group, encompassing the operating units of Molgas, Gasnor, and Bluegrid, on Friday (11 August) said it has achieved an en bloc delivery feat with long-term client Havyla Kystruten AS, delivering LNG bunker fuel to two sister ships on their maiden voyage after leaving the Turkish shipyard.
The two sister vessels saw LNG bunker transfer via terminal supply at Cartagena port on the same day. Both ships, the Havila Pollux and Havila Polaris, received LNG allocations of 110 and 125 metric tonnes (mt) respectively.
“We are very happy with the service and delivery we have received at MOLGAS when we are now taking Havila Polaris and Havila Pollux home to Norway. The location and facilities are just perfect for us, and with the good experience we had in the past with the MOLGAS Group, when we took Havila Capella and Havila Castor home, it was easy for us to come back this time around,” Rune Andreassen, Head of Martime Operations at Havyla Kystruten AS said in statement.
“The operation demonstrated how MOLGAS Group’s collective endeavours successfully serve clients throughout Europe. Our seamless collaboration across diverse units, housed together, underscores our dedication to enabling accessible LNG bunkering across Europe,” the MOLGAS GroupLNG Bunkering Department said.
