Netherlands-based maritime liquified natural gas (LNG) bunkering company Titan LNG on Tuesday (15 December) conducted its first bunkering operation for an LNG-fuelled bulk carrier at the PWA quay in the Port of Rotterdam.
Titan LNG delivered LNG bunkers to Baltic dry-bulk carrier fleet, M/S Haaga , a 25,600 dwt LNG-fuelled vessel by ESL Shipping which is one of the world’s most environmentally-friendly bulk carriers, with less than 50% of the CO2 emissions from previous generations of vessels.
Titan LNG said it is proud to play a key role in this bunkering, and supports the growth of LNG shipping as a pathway to a low-carbon future. We are pleased to work alongside our suppliers, partners and customers in supporting the expansion of LNG bunkering in the ARA region.
