Sales of marine fuel at the port of Singapore in March 2019 slightly fell by 1.8% on year, according to Maritime and Port of Singapore (MPA) data.
In total, 4.09 million metric tonnes (mt) (exact: 4,090,800 mt) of various bunkers were sold at the port in March, compared to 4.17 million mt (exact: 4,168,300 mt) in March 2018.
Deliveries of 500 centistokes (cSt), 380 cSt and 180 cSt grade in March 2019 (versus on year), was respectively 737,500 mt (-10.8% from 826,400 mt), 2.95 million mt (-4.8% from 3.10 million mt), and 24,400 mt (-11.3% from 27,500 mt).
Low sulphur 500 cSt, 380 cSt and 180 cSt grades recorded sales of zero mt (0% change from zero mt), 21,500 mt (+2,971.4% from 700 mt), and 39,000 mt (+248.2% from 11,200 mt).
Low sulphur marine gas oil (LS MGO) sales were posted at 208,500 mt (+74.9% from 119,200 mt) and MGO at 68,900 mt (12.0% from 61,500 mt).
