Global oil, bunkering, and shipping group Monjasa on Thursday (7 October) said it has reported an on year increase of 10% for its bunkering sales volume.
“In our 19 years in oil and shipping, we have never supplied 4 million tonnes of marine fuels this early in the year,” it said in a social media update.
The firm on Wednesday (6 October) delivered a total 650 tonnes of marine gas oil (MGO) to TechnipFMC in a bunkering operation which recorded crossing of the four million volume mark.
The supply was performed by the 5,812-dwt tanker Monjasa Chaser at Luanda Anchorage.
“Despite a challenging and highly competitive environment, our job is to keep fuelling global trade and we are doing our best to improve our operations day-by-day,” its adds.
Monjasa covers supply areas in the US Gulf and Panama Canal, Northwest Europe, UAE and West Africa with a fleet of 25 tankers and barges.
