Louise Tricoire becomes Senior VP of newly created TotalEnergies Aviation and Marine Fuels division

Louise Tricoire on Monday (29 April) said she was appointed as the Senior Vice President of the newly created Aviation and Marine Fuels division at TotalEnergies, as of 1 March.
“This expansion of my role marks a pivotal moment for the company as we accelerate our journey to address the complex decarbonisation challenges and opportunities within two key transport sectors on a global scale,” she said in a social media post.
Tricoire said aviation and shipping played integral roles in the international transportation landscape, and faced significant regulatory changes and demands for sustainable solutions.
“At TotalEnergies, we recognise the potential impact we can contribute to both industries from establishing this strategic grouping and by leveraging cross-learning and sharing best practices between these two business units to optimise our supply chain efficiencies and energy solutions,” she added.
“I am incredibly excited to lead this new division, building upon the invaluable insights and experiences gained from my role in TotalEnergies Marine Fuels. Together with diverse and highly experienced teams, we are committed to driving success and sustainability for TotalEnergies and, more importantly, for our valued customers.”
In 2022, Tricoire was named Vice President of TotalEnergies Marine Fuels, replacing Jérôme Leprince-Ringuet who left to take up a new role within the TotalEnergies organisation in Paris.
Since 2019, she has been active in reducing the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions of TotalEnergies’ assets, which is at the heart of TotalEnergies’ strategy.
In 2021, she was appointed VP Customer Line CO2 in the newly created OneTech Branch of TotalEnergies, building on all TotalEnergies’ consolidated technical expertise to accelerate the development and implementation of the best solutions to decarbonise its sites, as well as to scale up the technical team dedicated to TotalEnergies’ Carbon Capture & Storage development.
During an interview with Manifold Times following her appointment in 2022, Tricoire stated she has made it her raison d’être to support decarbonisation of the shipping sector – including maritime operations of French parent firm TotalEnergies.
