Global bunker trading firm Glander International Bunkering on Friday (22 March) said it worked with LNG supplier Rohe Solutions Oy to supply LNG by pipeline at Hamina, a first for the new terminal in Finland.

For the terminal-to-ship supply, the Valencia team at Glander International Bunkering aligned with the LNG supply team and Hamina terminal to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth operations.

“This event follows closely behind another milestone achieved earlier this quarter – a truck-to-ship LNG supply at the Kokkola port,” the firm said on its website.

“Both supplies underscore a shared commitment between Glander International Bunkering and Rohe Solutions Oy to meet the rising demand for LNG bunkering.”

With LNG and Bio-LNG emerging as leading alternative bunker fuels, Glander International Bunkering said it established a team of New Fuel Advisors that facilitate bunkering through technical expertise and close supplier partnerships.

Manifold Times previously reported Glander International Bunkering collaborating with Rohe Solutions Oy to supply LNG bunker fuel by truck to oil/chemical tanker SAANA.

The supply took place at the port of Kokkola in Finland, a historic first for the port. Amid harsh winter conditions, the Valencia team at Glander International Bunkering coordinated with the port authorities, the LNG supplier and the vessel crew.
