UAE-registered marine fuel trading firm Sea Leader DMCC on Thursday (20 November) said it has completed over 1,000 successful bunkering operations at Khor Fakkan anchorage (KFK).
Sagar Das, Head of Projects and Renewables, said the company completed 12 biofuel deliveries out of the 1,000 operations and successfully launched Electronic Bunker Delivery Note (e-BDN) operations in KFK — collectively moving more than 750,000 metric tonnes (mt) of marine fuels.
“With this momentum, we look forward to strengthening our position even further next year, expanding our footprint in sustainable marine energy and innovative fuel solutions,” he said in a social media post.
Manifold Times previously reported on Rohit Singh, a former Senior Trading Manager at Axiom Global, announcing the launch of Sea Leader.
At the time, Rohit, who is the founder and CEO of Sea Leader, said the company specialises in physical bunker supply across ports of UAE – Khor Fakkan and Sharjah – as well as India.
Its product range includes High Sulphur Fuel Oil (HSFO), Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO), and Low Sulphur Marine Gas Oil (LSMGO), catering to the diverse fuel requirements of modern vessels.
