TotalEnergies Marine Fuels on Tuesday (17 October) said it successfully refuelled a 15,000 TEU containership with LNG bunker fuel at the port of Marseille Fos last week.
The firm supplied 6,350m3 of LNG marine fuel to MSC containership Aaya for the first time at the port, according to Louise Tricoire, Vice President of TotalEnergies Marine Fuels, in a social media post.
“Some 6,350m3 of LNG was transferred smoothly and safely from the GasVitality LNG bunker vessel, thanks to an excellent cooperation between our teams at TotalEnergies Marine Fuels, MSC team, the sea crew and the port team,” she said.
“Well done to all involved for this new spot deal adding up to our LNG bunker experience.”
