Bunker One completes first bunkering of B30 biofuel for TUI Cruises “Mein Schiff 4”

Marine fuel and lube supplier Bunker One on Tuesday (25 July) said it has conducted the first bunkering of B30-blend fuel for TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff 4, calling Port of Aarhus as part of a voyage beyond the Barents Sea to the islands of Svalbard.
A gasoil blend containing 30% advanced 2 generation FAME was bunkered by trucks under guidance from Bunker One’s technical experts, ensuring a smooth bunkering experience.
“We understand that unique challenges sometimes require special solutions. In Bunker One, we are fully committed to proactively facilitating deliveries of any low-carbon products as per our customer’s preferred choice,” Peter Zachariassen, CEO of Bunker One, said in a social media post.
Bunker One added it has extended experience advising maritime clients on conventional and low-carbon fuel solutions as a global one-stop shop.
