Singapore bunker tanker owner, operator and bunker supplier Sinanju Tankers Holdings Pte Ltd (Sinanju) on Monday (14 January) announced it has taken delivery of Singapore’s first liquefied natural gas (LNG) dual fuelled bunker tanker.
Marine Vicky will be joining the Sinanju fleet and commence operations at the Port of Singapore within the first quarter (Q1) of 2020 as planned, it stated on its LinkedIn page.
Keppel Offshore & Marine (Keppel O&M), through its wholly-owned subsidiary Keppel Nantong Shipyard Co. Ltd (Keppel Nantong), delivered the bunker tanker on time and with a perfect safety record.
Sinanju, meanwhile, has been ranked second in the list of Singapore’s fastest-growing enterprises compiled by The Straits Times and global research company Statista.
It recorded a compound annual growth rate of 237.3% from 2015 to 2018.
“Being steadfast in carrying out our operations with utmost integrity, reliability and safety has guided Sinanju to what it is today,” Ju Kai Meng, Founder and Managing Director of Sinanju, told The Straits Times in an interview published on Wednesday (15 January).
“But what I am most grateful for is my management team who have passionately devoted themselves to strategise and drive Sinanju’s every milestone and accomplishments with me.”
