Ofiniti, the company behind the FuelBoss digital delivery platform and BunkerFlow, on Wednesday (10 December) announced that Hans-Christian Mordhorst has joined Ofiniti as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) – a milestone as the company marked one year since spinning out from classification society DNV.
Mordhorst, who began his career at Maersk, brings more than three decades of maritime experience. He joined Ofiniti after more than 12 years at maritime technology leader Marcura, where he most recently served as Group Chief Commercial Officer.
His background includes strategic and commercial leadership, operational management, and extensive experience in the maritime industry.
Mordhorst, CRO, Ofiniti, said: “I’m incredibly excited to join Ofiniti at this time in their journey and am impressed with the achievements of its entire team. For me, it’s all about customers and stakeholders and supporting them in their respective roles: suppliers, receivers, traders, agents, authorities and more.
“Bunkering is the last frontier of maritime digitalisation and Ofiniti has already secured a strong beachhead. Now the reinforcements are arriving.”
The company said Mordhorst joined Ofiniti during a period of significant activity for the company.
“Over the past year, the company has onboarded key personnel, secured its ISO 27001:2022 certification, completed the acquisition of Singapore-based Angsana Technology, and welcomed more than a dozen blue-chip customers, including several global oil majors,” the company added.
In Singapore, Ofiniti is now approaching 40% market share across all fuels and holds a commanding market share in global LNG bunkering with almost 70% of the market signed up.
“Mordhorst’s appointment also marks the strengthening of Ofiniti’s presence in the Middle East, where he will be based. The company plans to further expand its regional team in early Q1 to support the company’s growth,” Ofiniti shared.
