MelRoh Trading on Thursday (13 March) announced its shift from a bunker broker into a physical supplier of marine gasoil (MGO) in the Port of Rotterdam.

MelRoh Trading will supply the MGO using its newly acquired bunker barge MT Maaike, which will further strengthen the company’s ability to provide reliable and efficient bunker deliveries.

“Over the last five years, MelRoh Trading has established a strong reputation as a successful broker in the ARA region,” the company said in a statement.

“Now we are taking the next natural step in the company’s evolution and moving away from brokering to become a physical supplier. This allows us to gain greater control over quality and logistics, ensuring more reliable solutions for our clients.”

In addition to the transition, MelRoh Trading BV also hired Tim Visser as Senior Operations / Bunker Trader in the company.
