Chemical tanker company Fairfield Chemical Carriers and MOL Chemical Tankers on Thursday (25 July) welcomed another LNG dual-fuel chemical tanker, Fairchem Pioneer.

“We are proud to announce the addition of our second LNG dual-fuel 26,000 dwt vessel, the Fairchem Pioneer, to the fleet,”  Fairfield Chemical Carriers said in a social media post.

The dual-fuel tanker was delivered by Fukuoka Shipbuilding Co., Ltd on 25 July.

On 4 March, it was announced that MOL Chemical Tankers completed its acquisition of all of the shares of Fairfield Chemical Carriers Pte. Ltd. in an all-cash transaction for about USD 400 million.
