Fratelli Cosulich methanol, biofuel bunker barge en route to Singapore

Genoa-based international shipping, shipments and logistics company Fratelli Cosulich Group on Thursday (9 May) said its newest bunker barge Marta Cosulich was enroute to Singapore.
Delivered from the Zhejiang Shenzhou Sunshine Heavy Industry Co. yard in China, Marta Cosulich is an IMO2 Chemical tanker, fully equipped to carry methanol and biofuels up to B100, according to the firm on a social media post.
“Currently en route to Singapore, she is joining our fleet in the area,” it said.
“This achievement not only reflects our dedication to advancing the marine industry and integrating alternative solutions, but also underscores the collaborative efforts of our entire team.”
On its website, the company, said: “With a fleet of meticulously maintained bunker tankers already making waves, we are proud to uphold the highest standards approved by the Maritime and Port Authority (MPA), ensuring deliveries in strict compliance with the Singapore Standard Code of Practice for Bunkering (SS648).”
