Barge will be multi product capable and have multiple and segregated pumping, piping, and product heating redundancies for more efficient bunkering operations.

US-based petroleum product supplier John W. Stone Oil on Thursday (7 May) said modifications at Conrad Shipyard on its offshore oil barge Gulf Carrier are well underway.
The modifications will enable it, with the Articulated Tug Gulf Venture, to complete offshore bunkering operations at various Jones Act anchorages as well as non Jones Act lightering areas in the Gulf of Mexico, said the company on its social media platform.
The barge will be multi product capable and have multiple and segregated pumping, piping, and product heating redundancies for more efficient bunkering operations.
