Singapore: EPS achieves 600th STS LNG bunkering operation milestone

Singapore-based shipping firm Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) on Friday (10 April) announced the successful completion of its 600th ship-to-ship (STS) LNG bunkering operation.

During the operation, FueLNG Bellina supplied LNG marine fuel to EPS’ dual-fuel PCTC CMA CGM Indianapolis in Singapore.

“This milestone reflects the strength of our long-standing partnerships and the trust built across the industry, as well as the dedication and professionalism of our teams — both onboard and ashore — alongside our partners at CMA CGM, FueLNG Private Limited and Shell,” EPS said in a social media post.

“As an early adopter of dual-fuel LNG vessels, CMA CGM has been a valued partner in supporting LNG adoption and the development of dual-fuel capabilities from the outset. Each LNG bunkering represents more than an operational achievement – it is a tangible step forward in advancing our decarbonisation journey across our fleet.”

The company added it will continue to work closely with its partners to further scale LNG operations.
