Singapore-based EPS achieves 500th STS LNG bunkering operation milestone

Singapore-based shipping firm Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) on Friday (14 November) said it completed its 500th ship-to-ship LNG bunkering operation after five years since offering the service in 2020.
At a time when LNG was still gaining ground, EPS said it took early steps to adopt LNG dual-fuel technology.
The company added those early investments have helped shape its fleet of 137 LNG dual-fuel vessels today.
“We are proud to mark our 500th ship-to-ship LNG bunkering operation with CMA CGM Bali at FOS, France — a major step in our decarbonisation journey since our first LNG bunkering in 2020,” the company said in a social media post.
EPS added the milestone was made possible through close collaboration with TotalEnergies, whose chartered LNG bunker vessel, Gas Vitality, supplied the marine LNG for the landmark operation.
