A safety management conference for bunkering vessels was held by China Marine Bunker Co., Ltd. Chimbusco Jiangsu (Chimbusco Jiangsu) on 23 February, it said.
The development was in preparation of the “Regulations on the Prevention and Control of Pollution from Ships in the Yangtze River of Jiangsu Province” effective 1 March.
A total of 21 people from the company’s leaders, relevant functional departments, and shipping company representatives attended the meeting on safety management of bunkering operations.
During the meeting, Meng Xiaojun from Chimbusco Jiangsu’s Safety and Technology Department highlighted compliance and safety measures for staff to adhere.
