FuelSure, a digital bunker platform launched through a collaboration between Singapore-headquartered tanker operator Hafnia and Studio 30 50, on Tuesday (14 April) announced Capt Alok RC Sharma has joined the company as a Strategic Advisor.

Sharma brings over 25 years of experience spanning maritime operations, energy trading, financial services, and technology. A qualified Master Mariner turned commercial leader, he has held senior roles at some of the world’s largest trading and technology companies, including Inatech (formerly part of Glencore) and most recently at 129Knots, a fintech initiative for commodities. 

His career sits at the exact intersection of shipping, commodities, capital and digital transformation, making him a natural fit for what Fuelsure is building.

The company said Sharma’s global network across ship owners, traders, and suppliers, combined with his deep expertise in energy procurement, risk management, decarbonisation and capital markets will help Fuelsure sharpen its go-to-market strategy and deepen its footprint across the industry.
