IBT Bunkering & Trading hires Björn Hauschild as Sales Support Specialist

Germany-headquartered marine fuels firm IBT Bunkering & Trading recently announced the appointment of Björn Hauschild as its Sales Support Specialist.

Hauschild joined the company at the beginning of October and will support the trading team and company with his hands-on approach and shipping knowledge.

“He is a qualified shipping clerk, with experience as a chartering broker. Björn has also previously worked on the agency side. His last role was with a shipyard broker,” the company said.

In July, the company announced opening its doors in Singapore and will be running a trading desk in the city-state after trading bunkers out of Hamburg since 1976.

With this move, the company now has two strategic trading desks operating in Hamburg and Singapore. 

Later, IBT Bunkering & Trading appointed Kevin Döhmen as Executive Vice President to lead the company’s new Singapore office.
