Singapore-based shipping firm Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) on Tuesday (29 September) announced the delivery of RS Atlantico, a 5,500 CEU LNG dual-fuel PCTC.

The company said the delivery marked a milestone in its partnership with SUARDIAZ Group.

“As EPS’s first PCTC newbuilding chartered to SUARDIAZ, RS Atlantico is a testament to what can be achieved through shared expertise, close collaboration and a common vision for the future of vehicle transportation,” it said in a social media post.

Separately, SUARDIAZ Group said the RS Atlantico is departing from China, bound for Europe.

“It is the first of a new generation of PCTC vessels powered by dual-fuel LNG technology to join our operations,” the company said.

“With a capacity of approximately 5,500 CEU, 55,000 GT and a length of 190 metres, the RS Atlantico will strengthen SUARDIAZ Shipping Lines’ capabilities for the transport of vehicles, machinery and High & Heavy cargo.”
