Molgas Energy completes first LNG bunkering operation at Port of Leixões in Portugal

Molgas Energy on Friday (19 September) completed the first-ever LNG bunkering operation at the Port of Leixões (Porto) in Portugal. 

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s newest ship, Ilma, was refuelled using the Multi-Truck-to-Ship method, establishing a permanent LNG supply point in Portugal and firmly placing the country on the European bunkering map.

This achievement builds on company’s recent partnership with Titan, delivering LNG to Ilma at the Cruise Port of Amsterdam, the first LNG bunkering operation at the Cruise Terminal of Amsterdam.

Molgas is now fully capable of supplying LNG at the Port of Leixões, established as a permanent and reliable point of supply.
