Singapore: Golden Island Diesel Oil Trading to undergo name change to Golden Island

Singapore bunker supplier Golden Island Diesel Oil Trading Pte Ltd (Golden Island) will be changing its name to Golden Island Pte Ltd, effective from 1 August.

According to a letter sighted by Manifold Times, the name change is intended to reflect the firm’s dedication to sustainability and its expansion into new sustainable energy solutions within the bunkering industry.

“Our new name, Golden Island Pte Ltd, better represents our values, mission, and the direction in which we are heading,” the letter, signed by Director Johnny Tan, said.

The letter, addressed to its partners, noted that while the name is changing, the company’s core operations and management team will remain the same.

“This change will not affect our existing agreements or contracts, and there will be no disruption in our business operations,” it said.

The letter also noted that the name change is currently pending final approval.
