18 Jun 2021

The Task Force 42 Squadron of the Vietnam Coast Guard on Wednesday (16 June) spotted fishing vessel TG 90659 TS displaying “suspicious signs” at the south west region from Hon Khoai (Ca Mau) and decided to stop the vessel for an administrative inspection, it said.

According to the Captain’s testimony, TG 90659 TS was transporting about 100,000 litres of diesel oil; the oil cargo has no invoices and documents to prove the origin.

The working group made a record of administrative violations and escorted the vehicle to the port of Squadron 421 in Nam Can (Ca Mau) for further investigation and handling in accordance with the law.
