Independent bunker fuel supplier to the marine industry Titan on Wednesday (29 June) said it successfully delivered around 350 metric tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to trailing suction hopper dredger Vox Ariane at the Greenport Terminal in Eemshaven Rotterdam on 24 June.
Vox Ariane is a 10,500 cubic metres trailing suction hopper dredger that is owned by Van Oord.
It is the first hopper in Van Oord’s fleet equipped with an LNG fuel system and an outstanding example of Van Oord’s sustainable ambitions, said Titan in a social media post.
“We thank everyone involved in this successful operation,” it said.
