Sonan Bunkers marks expansion into Americas with launch of first office

London-based marine fuel supplier Sonan Bunkers recently announced its strategic expansion with the opening of its first office in the Americas, Sonan Energy Panama SA. 

The operation will be led by Hernán Ortiz, Managing Director, with over 30 years of experience in the maritime industry and marine fuel supply across the Americas, the Middle East, and Europe. 

“Panama, as a maritime hub and a central node of international trade, will be key to serving our clients across the region—from Canada to Argentina—while maintaining the efficiency and strong financial backing that defines Sonan Bunkers,” the company said.
