The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) on Tuesday (9 January) issued a port notice informing the restriction of all vessels from transiting, anchoring or remaining in certain demarcated areas at the East Johor Straits, off Woodlands Causeway.
The restriction shall take effect between 0800hrs on 10 Jan 2024 and 1200hrs on 11 Jan 2024.
MPA and Police Coast Guard enforcement boats will be in attendance during the stipulated period to enforce the restriction.
The demarcated areas are shown in the Appendix and bounded by the following coordinates:
