Supplier and trader of marine bunker and lubricants Island Oil Holdings on Thursday (7 October) said it has strengthened its UK subsidiary, Island Oil Trading (UK) Limited, with the appointment of a Head of Sustainable Fuels and a new Bunker Trader.
Mark Bresnahan, who has 20 years of trading experience in various locations, has been appointed to the newly created position of Head of Sustainable Fuels of Island Oil Limited with effect from 4 October.
“I am delighted to announce Mark’s appointment as Head of Sustainable Fuels. His wide understanding of the bunker markets and ability to apprehend the changes in the industry, will certainly assist the Group’s transit to a more advanced level of optimization and sustainability,” said Vangelis S Marinakis, COO.
“At the same time, Mark will strengthen our UK operations with his strong managerial skills and his extensive network of customers and suppliers.”
In line with the Group plans for sustainable growth, Ana Beatriz Rossetto has been appointed Bunker Trader at Island Oil Trading (UK) Limited with effect from 20 September 2021.
“Mrs Rossetto is a highly respected professional, widely known in the bunkering industry from her career at Petrobras,” states Island Oil.
