Island Oil acquires bunkering vessel, announces arrival in Cyprus

International marine fuel trading firm Island Oil on Wednesday (10 December) announced the acquisition of its newly purchased vessel, Ruby, which has now officially joined our fleet.
Ruby, a vessel specialised in bunkering and is the sister vessel to the company’s Astraia, further strengthening its capabilities and flexibility in serving clients’ marine fuel needs.
The company held a blessing ceremony onboard Ruby, in keeping with maritime tradition.
“As part of her arrival in Cyprus, Ruby passed right in front of our seafront offices – a special moment for our team,” the company said in a social media post.
