Island Oil launches new international trading office in Dubai

International marine fuel trading firm Island Oil on Thursday (24 July) said it launched a new office in Dubai, marking the company’s seventh trading desk globally.
The new office will be headed by Mr. Kimihiro Kido, former General Manager of Toyota Tsusho Marine Fuels’s London Branch.
“It is exciting to be a part of Island Oil’s new endeavour in Dubai, which is also a new chapter in my career”, Mr. Kido stated.
“Our associates can rest assured the Dubai team will treat them in the most professional way”, he concluded.
Island Oil Chief Operating Officer, Vangelis Marinakis, said: “The newly established office in Dubai is an important step towards the full coverage of the marine fuel market and the enhancement of our trustful relations with clients and suppliers.
“We aim to grow this office soon, improving our service provision in the Middle East, the Indian sub-continent, and adjacent markets, without compromising our core values of mutuality and respect.”
