Golden Ocean Group bulk carrier successfully refuelled close to Singapore harbour

“Golden Barnet” was refuelled via the new TFG Marine portal which provides direct access to a one-stop digital platform for credit and processing of marine fuel deliveries, amongst others.

International dry bulk shipping company Golden Ocean Group on Wednesday (21 December) said its Golden Barnet bulk carrier was successfully refuelled close to Singapore harbour by testing the new TFG Marine portal. 

The portal provides direct access to a one-stop digital platform for operational planning, credit and processing of marine fuel deliveries, improving visibility and efficiency for all parties in the supply chain.

“Digitalising shipping is at the heart of our strategy. One way we’re doing that is by working towards a paperless process of receiving bunkers. Going paperless enables accurate and real-time data collection, while also increasing transactional efficiency and transparency,” the firm said in a social media post.

The transaction was completed on SGTraDex, with support from industry partners including PSA Marine and DBS Bank. The partnership enables real-time data transmission for greater transparency along the supply chain.
