Gazpromneft Marine Bunker (GMB), the bunkering arm of Russian oil major Gazprom Neft, has filed for a bankruptcy petition application at the Arbitration Court of the Murmansk region against OJSC Murmansk Shipping Company (MSCO), reports Interfax quoting information from the court.
GMB is seeking to claim 8.3 million rubles (USD $120,000) from MSCO; details of the claim are not disclosed.
MSCO plays a key role in cargo transportation to the Arctic Russia region carrying up to 80% of cargo transportation via the Northern Sea Route, according to information from its official website.
