Christiania Energy, a privately held Danish trading company, recently announced it will scale up operations to source B50 and B100 biofuels in the months to come with Christiania Gas and Christiania Shipping.
The company also highlighted biofuel bunkering operations it facilitated for the month of July.
“Whilst July is traditionally a time to pause and recharge on holidays, for us it’s been a month of meaningful progress, marked by several successful B30 biofuel deliveries,” Christiania Energy said.
The company enabled the delivery of 140 metric tonnes (mt) to CGAS Leopard in Rotterdam, 60 mt to NQ Lilium in Aveiro and 140 mt to CGAS Tiger in Rotterdam.
“These supplies are part of our growing commitment to support low-carbon alternatives in bunkering, and a reflection of the trust our clients place in our guidance,” the company said.
In May, the company announced the establishment of its French branch and the commencement of physical marine fuel supply operations across all major French ports.
With a fully operational logistics setup and a dedicated team based in Southern France, the company supplies Marine Gasoil (DMA 0.1%) via truck deliveries. Christiania Energy also offers ULSD 10ppm/EN590, with biofuels set to be introduced in the near future.
