Bunker Energy S.p.A, a rebranded company of Genova-based bunkering firm Maxcom Bunker S.p.A., is scheduled to start operations from 16 December 2018, it says.
“The naming of Bunker Energy S.p.A is the final stage in the re-shaping of the bunker arm of the wider Maxcom group,” said the company in a press release to Manifold Times on Thursday.
“Maxcom has been a key player in the bunker industry worldwide since the mid 80's; the brand has always been connected with reliability and the highest level of service: Bunker Energy will maintain and enhance its role in the field.
“The new company, with the backing of the financial holding FinGo & Fuels Sp.A., will take over all the activities of Maxcom Bunker S.p.A. from 16th December 2018.
“Bunker Energy will strive to be proactive in delivering solutions, ensure the best possible quality service and provide our clients with comprehensive coverage of the global bunkering areas.
“We know that every stakeholder is a customer. Our compliance culture will continue to grow within the new company, a reflection of the leadership and commitment displayed every day by our staff.”
