VPS unveils digital bunker fuel and emissions platform Verisphere

Marine fuels testing company VPS on Wednesday (8 October) said it has officially launched its latest digital platform, VeriSphere — an ecosystem initiative and digital marketplace to enable access to digital solutions across the marine fuels and emissions value chain. 

With VeriSphere, a selection of digital solutions from VPS and its partners are connected through a single, intuitive environment, unifying the application landscape for marine fuels and emissions. 

Today, VeriSphere already contains a wide range of solutions for the following use cases:

• Decision-making in data-driven bunker fuel procurement and management with VPS PortStats, the world’s most comprehensive fuel quality data platform;
• Monitoring main engine and emission equipment performance with VPS Maress, the leading digital decarb platform for offshore vessels;
• Optimising fuel and lube oil consumption and fleet performance with VPS Emsys and VPS testing and inspection services;
• Simplifying emissions monitoring, reporting and compliance with Maress MRV;
• Planning decarbonisation pathways and scenarios for a sustainable future with VPS CORE.

Because of its modular design and persistent identity management, users can move effortlessly between apps without the hassle of dealing with multiple accounts.

VeriSphere is live now for all VPS PortStats platform users and will be rolled out in the fourth quarter of this year to all other VPS customers.
