Total bunker sales at Panama was 381,648 mt in November, compared to sales of 412,792 mt during the similar period in 2022, according to PMA data.

Bunker fuel sales at Panama fell by about 7.5% in November 2023, according to the latest data from La Autoridad Maritima de Panama, also known as the Panama Maritime Authority (PMA).

Total bunker sales at Panama was 381,648 metric tonnes (mt) in November, compared to sales of 412,792 mt during the similar period in 2022.

In November 2023, the Pacific side of Panama posted bunker sales of 312,706 mt; 203,261 mt of VLSFO, 71,027 mt of RMG 380, 4,873 of marine gas oil (MGO), and 33,545 mt of low sulphur marine gas oil (LSMGO) were delivered.

The similar region saw total marine sales of 340,578 mt a year before on November; with VLSFO sales at 237,137 mt, RMG 380 sales at 73,409 mt, MGO sales at 1,607 mt, and 28,425 mt of LSMGO being sold.

Panama’s Atlantic side, meanwhile, recorded total bunker fuel sales of 68,942 during November 2023; the figure comprised 51,082 mt of VLSFO, 5,300 mt of RMG 380, 2,808 mt of MGO, and 9,752 mt of LSMGO.

It saw total sales of 72,214 mt in November a year before; with VLSFO sales of 59,455 mt, RMG 380 sales of 1,812, 5,495 mt of MGO, and LSMGO sales of 5,452 mt.
