Dong Nan Tankers creditors electronic meeting scheduled for October

Copy of the agenda for the meeting of creditors of the company for 19 October has been circulated to all known creditors of the company.

A creditors electronic meeting will be held for Dong Nan Tankers Pte. Ltd. on Tuesday (19 October) at 10:00 am, according to a Monday (4 October) notice posted on the Government Gazette.

The purpose of the electronic meeting are as follows:

  • To receive a full statement of the Company’s affairs together with a list of creditors and the estimated amount of their claims.
  • To appoint liquidators.
  • To consider the judicial managers’ remuneration and expenses as an expense of the winding-up.
  • To be authorised to appoint solicitors to assist the liquidators in the liquidators’ duties; and/or to bring or defend any action or legal proceeding in the name and on behalf of the Company.

A copy of the detailed agenda for the meeting of creditors of the Company on the aforementioned date and time has been circulated to all known creditors of the Company via registered post and email. 

Any creditor of the Company who has not received the detailed agenda by this date is invited to contact the Company’s representatives at Ms. Gwee Hui Fang ([email protected]) and Ms. Ashley Shanti ([email protected]) where upon satisfactory verification a copy of the detailed agenda will be provided.

The above development took place after a 24 September meeting which selected Grant Thornton Singapore Private Limited as joint and provisional liquidators of Dong Nan Tankers.

The final meeting for Tiger LNG Shipping Pte Ltd has been scheduled to take place on 29 June, according to the company’s liquidators on a notice posted on Friday (29 May) on the Government Gazette.

The meetings will be held at 10.30am at 190 Middle Road #17-05 Fortune Centre Singapore 188979. 

The meeting is being held for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator.

Several notices were published on the Government Gazette on Tuesday (26 May) regarding the annual general meetings of the companies and creditors to be held electronically from 5 to 6 May for Xin Guang Shipping Pte Ltd and An Xing Shipping Pte Ltd. 

Annual general meeting for Xin Guang Shipping are to be held on 12 June at the following times:

  • Annual general meeting of the Company at 2pm
  • Annual general meeting of the creditors of the Company at 3pm

Annual general meeting for An Xing Shipping are to be held on 11 June at the following times:

  • Annual general meeting of the Company at 2pm
