Singapore-based bunker surveying firm Majestic Maritime Services (MMS) Pte Ltd has expanded operations with a new office at Hong Kong.
“The new office and location reflects increased demand for our services from clients lifting bunkers at Hong Kong,” Sky Sim, the Managing Director of MMS, told Manifold Times adding the firm earlier expanded to Port Klang, Malaysia.
“Being physically now present at Hong Kong enables us to better react and serve our current and future clients performing bunkering operations at the port.”
MMS will be able to offer a range of services, including bunker quantity and quality (BQS), onboard vessel quantity (ROB), on/off hire, vessel general condition, dispute, and cargo handling from the new branch.
Earlier in 2018, staff from MMS completed a mass flowmeter (MFM) training course organised by MFM manufacturer Endress + Hauser (E+H).
“We are aware that the use of MFM technology for bunkering has been expanding to other international locations and Hong Kong is among them,” Sim adds.
“We look forward towards transferring our skills and knowledge from MFM bunkering operations from Singapore to better serve the Hong Kong market.”
