Netherlands-based maritime liquified natural gas (LNG) bunkering company Titan LNG on Wednesday (24 March) celebrated the christening of its liquified natural gas (LNG) bunker vessel FlexFueler 002 in a COVID-secure ceremony at its home location in the Port of Antwerp.
The FlexFueler 002 joins the FlexFueler 001 and the Green Zeebrugge in Titan LNG’s fleet, and aims to expand the availability of LNG as a marine fuel in the ARA region, providing a cost-effective and sustainable solution to the shipping’s decarbonisation mission.
“We would like to extend particular thanks to Fluxys and the Port of Antwerp for partnering with Titan LNG on this venture, thereby supporting the growth of LNG infrastructure,” said Titan LNG.
To commemorate the christening ceremony and mark FlexFueler002 as fully operational, Titan LNG will join Fluxys and Port of Antwerp for a special webinar this Thursday, 25 March at 10am CET.
