Durban-based bunker trading and supply firm Amoil will be appointing Alexandros Margaritis as Managing Director effective January 1, 2020.
Margaritis brings 14 years of industry experience and has held previous positions in Singapore and Dubai respectively.
“This is an exciting time to join Amoil. With the IMO 2020 regulations, this is not only a new chapter for me, but for bunkering and shipping. I look forward to working with the exceptional team at Amoil and growing the business in Africa and beyond,” he says.
Based in Durban, Amoil was established in 1984 as the first independent bunker trading and supply service in South Africa.
