Singapore: Final meeting set for Thai Oil Public Company subsidiary

The final meeting of Thailand-listed Thai Oil Public Company Limited subsidiary Thaioil Marine International Pte Ltd has been arranged by its liquidator, states a Friday (19 August) notice posted on the Government Gazette. 

The meeting will be held at One Raffles Place, #10-62, Tower 2, Singapore 048616 on 23 September 2022 at 10.00 am. 

The meeting will be held for the purpose of having an account from the Liquidator showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and property of the Company has been disposed of and hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator. 

The names and address of the liquidators are as follows:

C/o. 1 Raffles Place,
#10-62 One Raffles Place,
Tower 2 Singapore 048616.

Note: A member entitled to attend and vote at this meeting is entitled to appoint another person or persons (whether a member or not) as his proxy to attend and vote in his stead. Proxies for the above meeting must be lodged at the office of the Liquidator at least 72 hours before the time appointed for the holding of the meeting.

In November 2021, Manifold Times reported Thaioil Marine International would be voluntarily wound up as one of the special resolutions passed during an extraordinary meeting. 

“This transaction has no impact to the Company’s operations,” stated the parent company.  

In a 2015 Thaioil interim financial statement, Thaioil Marine International’s range of business included investment in marine transportation for crude oil and petroleum product business.
